Hound handlers training programs include the following:

"In Home" Programs- Must be consecutive weeks

• One time session (1 hour): covers evaluation and provides training tips based on dog's behavior
• 4 week session: 4 one hour sessions that include custom problem solving (i.e. barking, jumping, leash manners), teaching obedience, commands, and discussion topics such as dog safety, crate use, wellness exams
• 6 week session: 6 one hour sessions that covers everything in the 4 week session with additional obedience commands and discussion topics
• 8 week session: 8 one hour sessions that covers everything in the 6 week session with additional obedience commands and discussion topics. Introduction to hand signals and off-leash
• Beyond Basic Obedience: a 6 week, 45 minute per session, program with refinement of obedience commands, off leash, use of hand signals, show ring skills. Must have previous training experience

"Puppy" Program

• A 6 week, 45 minute per session, program with discussion of common puppy problems, learn basic obedience commands, learn to communicate better with your puppy

Additional fee for aggressive dogs. Applies to all sessions/programs.

General Program Requirements

Age limits:

• One time session - all ages
• Training programs - 5 months and older
• Puppy program - up to 5 months

Now offering Canine Challenge classes at Cozy Lodge Doggie Daycare (6 hour sessions). Fun, interactive activities for you and your dog. Must have previous training experience.

Also at Cozy Lodge Doggie Daycare, we now offer our Hounds Around Town class. Join us for an evening stroll thorugh various dog-friendly parks, all within three miles of Cozy Lodge.

Now offering Canine Good Citizen Certification at Kettle Moraine Town & Country (6 weeks, 30 minute sessions). Prepares you and your dog to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. CGG test will be conducted during the last session. Must have previous training experience.
